Hello, My name is Shaunika Ryals. I am 20 years old.
I was born and raised in Albuquerque New Mexico. I currently work with breaking the silence New Mexico.
Which is a program that goes into schools and teaches middle-highschool about breaking the stigma around mental health.
I am a large advocate for mental and behavioral health! I am serious about making a change my community!
I first got involved with Generation Justice in 2013 I was a part of a documentary called ” When The Mask Comes Off” after that I decided to join their youth media team and anything else I could get involved in with GJ. I have a passion for social justice and mental health. And GJ does so much for the community. I’ve never felt more loved somewhere! I look forward to continuing my journey with the GJ family.
