Luna Olavarria Gallegos is a 17-year-old senior at Albuquerque Academy. She is a multi-ethnic student of native New Mexican and Afro-Caribbean roots. Luna joined the KUNM Youth Radio Project at the beginning of 2010 as a Youth Radio Producer, but she has developed as a media-maker since then, producing radio shows, blogs, videos, and vlogs. Luna loves to play Latin percussion, piano, and guitar. She also likes exploring new places, and hopes to be able to continue learning and discovering through traveling.
