10.4.15 Women’s Reproductive Justice – Generation Justice

The politicization of women’s bodies is nothing new. As the headlines are dominated with news of the Presidential election coming up and the simultaneous attack on Planned Parenthood – communities across the country are coming together to stand in solidarity for reproductive justice. This week GJ attended the ‪#‎PinkOut‬ Rally on UNM Campus to hear why organizers, students, and community members are speaking out in support of Planned Parenthood. We also spoke with Tannia Esparza, Executive Director of Young Women United, and Amarisa Barboa, an Albuquerque youth leader, to share more about the history of this fight for reproductive rights.
