On this week’s show we hear from successful New Mexicans who happen to be part of the Generation Justice fellowship, a program that helps young journalists of color build their skills while becoming the next generation of socially conscious media makers. We will welcome in our newest GJ fellow Tamara Colaque. She will share with us her powerful story and how she hopes to grow over the next year.

This program will also feature Pauly Denetclaw, GJ YR1 Fellow, who will share her summer experience as a Knight CUNYJ Fellow and NPR’s Latino USA Intern in New York City.
