This program discusses institutionalized racism and the importance of Ethnic studies in New Mexico. We’re joined by New Mexico State Senator Linda Lopez, who proposed a memorial this legislative session that would require every state-funded agency to adopt policies addressing institutional racism.

We’ll also talk with Chicano Studies teacher Veronica Medina and her two students Gabriella Ortega and Eric Gonzales from Albuquerque High School.
