This week’s show features our own Jason Fuller interviewing Dr. Augustine Romero, the Director of Multicultural Curriculum for Tucson Unified School District (TUSD), and co-founder of the revolutionary Social Justice Education Project. He discusses the importance of education equity, and his new book, Raza Studies: The Public Option for Educational Revolution. Jason also talked with SouthWest Organizing Project’s Travis Mckenzie and Jaciel Escarcega, a student organizer, to talk about the planned events for Cesar Chavez day.
