Generation Justice spoke with youth during the 2012 OYE Conference, where in partnership with the Center for Education Policy Research, we presented our Education Equity Training. This interactive training utilizes geo-maps to challenge participants to see education from an equity lens and to understand the relationships between socio-economic status, health, supportive relationships and academic success. After the training, we asked youth participants to tell us why education was important to them. They touched on everything from family to making a change in the world. This video captures both their messages and the passion with which they delivered them.
