Future of the Internet Public Hearing: Commissioner Copps – Generation Justice

On November 16, 2010 NM Media Literacy Project, The Center for Media Justice, and Free Press hosted the Future of the Internet Public Hearing at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque, NM.

The hearing consisted of speakers who gave their expertise on the Internet’s future. The community was also given time to ask questions on what lies ahead. KUNM Youth Radio Project’s Carson Lafferty interviews FCC Commissioner Copps. Commissioner Copps expresses his concerns for Internet access in America and speaks on what would happen if corporations controlled the Internet completely.
