The Cesar Chavez March – Generation Justice

The Cesar Chavez march was a great experience for me. I learned a lot and had fun. What I learned was that Cesar Chavez was a Mexican American civil rights leader. His birthday is celebrated in order to keep his teachings alive. Cesar Chavez worked hard for improving working conditions for farm workers during the 1960’s. Today, he is very well known and important. He is considered a hero to many people.

I think that he was a very brave and strong man. Cesar Chavez and Martin Luther King Jr. have a lot in common. They both fought for civil rights, were both brave and powerful, and are both well known. Both Cesar Chavez and Martin Luther King Jr. are great men. I didn’t know who Cesar Chavez was and I had never even heard about him until I went to the “Cesar Chavez march.” Since I now know who he is, it makes me want to tell more and more people about what he did. What Cesar Chavez means to me is getting farmers what they deserve and advocating non-violence.
